- Abstract
The article focuses on the increased responsibilities of trustee in the U.S. It states that government regulation have imposed new burdens on trustee including rights to subscribe to additional stock, reorganizations and consolidations, and realizations upon collateral under bond indentures. It also states that a trustee is known as conservator as it conserves wealth and distributes it. Further it states that the trustees are allied with those who are interested in maintaining the purchasing power of accumulated wealth.
