- Abstract
With the deepening of exploration in Ledong area, it is more and more difficult to identify deep dim spot lithologic reservoirs. This paper takes the high temperature and high pressure field of Ledong area as the research target, starting from the change law of low velocity mudstone, proves that the Ledong area has the basic condition of developing dim spot reservoir. Combined with the fluid replacement of the target in the dim spot, the characteristic version of AVO response under different mudstone velocities and different porosity is established, and the potential favorable target with better physical properties is identified as the dim spot target in the background of low-velocity mudstone. Because it is difficult to evaluate dim spot targets only by post-stack seismic data, a new Fstack attribute is proposed to effectively guide the target search by using the polarity inversion feature of pre-stack seismic gather, and the effectiveness of this technique has been proved by drilling. The carving method of II AVO has been extended to a certain extent, which provides important guidance for deep oil and gas exploration and drilling target selection in Ledong area.
