- Abstract
The article discusses the use of meditation to achieve super consciousness. Meditation is comprised of three states which are concentration to focus the mind, meditation, and super-consciousness, also known as samadhi. Raja yoga philosophy focuses on the health of the body to practice meditation. Vedanta philosophy suggests the soul is connected to Brahman, the Divine Self. The Hindu scriptures the Upanishads offer vidyas, techniques for meditation such meditating on Om.
