Kelley, Wyn
- Abstract
A literary criticism of the book "The Arctic Regions: Illustrated With Photographs Taken on an Art Expedition to Greenland" by William Bradford is presented. Particular focus is given to the relation between painting and photography and the involvement of the artist as physically present in the artifact's display. It examines Bradford's adoption of photography, noting the questions it raised about his work and status vis-à-vis artistic production.
