- Abstract
The article discusses the portrayal of natural relationships in the revised version of English poet Philip Sidney's prose work "Arcadia" (referred to as "New Arcadia"). Focus is given to what the author calls the book's ecology of romance, which describes how the work's main character, Pyrocles, understands the titular pastoral fantasy land's communal nature as well as his connection to the natural world.
