- Abstract
The article reports on Social epidemiology and the social determinants of health suggesting that social and economic factors including job security, housing, and disability have a negative impact on health results. It explains that people who belong to lower socioeconomic status are more prone to the risk of morbidity and mortality. It further suggests that health care systems, social planners, and governments should develop a good understanding to reduce the impact of social inequalities.
