- Abstract
A biography of Jewish U.S. federal judge Jacob Weinberger is presented, largely focusing on his legal career. His family's immigration to the U.S. from Germany is detailed by the author. Weinberger's experiences as a young newsboy in Denver, Colorado are detailed, as is his time at the University of Colorado. Weinberger worked as a lawyer before becoming a judge. His experiences as an attorney in Globe, Arizona are documented, emphasizing his support for labor unions. Weinberger's appointment to the Federal District Court in San Diego, California is analyzed.
