The article features Rabbi William Mordechi Kramer. He is the retired editor/publisher of "Western States Jewish History" journal and a well-known radio and television personality. He was also a retired full-time professor at the California State University in Northridge. According to the article, Kramer has decided to devote himself to the study of Bible after serving more than 50 years as a pulpit rabbi. He is also a collector of antiquarian books, objects of Jewish art and Chinese furniture. It details how Kramer and Rabbi Edgar Magnin became weekly columnists for the periodical "Heritage."
