The article focuses on the Constitution and by-laws of the Hebrew Benevolent Society of Los Angeles, California. It mentions when the election of officers of the society shall take place. All applications for membership addressed to the president and members of the society will be received by the Committee on Letters. Unless they become members, the sons of members over 18 years of age are not entitled to the benefits of the society. Members are prohibited to leave the meeting without permission from the Chair.
