- Abstract
The article highlights the mobilization of activists in the Sahara to protect the rights of migrants during their displacement towards North Africa. Alarme Phone Sahara is a project that aims to denounce human rights violations and prevent the death of people on the move. Despite the challenges in a hostile political environment, activists seek to raise awareness about the conditions and risks of displacement, document accidents and violence on migration routes, and provide assistance to people in difficult situations in the desert. The organization works to draw attention to deaths in the desert and the repression of human rights defenders.
