- Abstract
The article discusses the issues involving the law enforcement that is based on race and bias, or racial profiling, in Vermont. It discusses the efforts of numerous police agencies, state governments and scholars in addressing the issues. It offers information on the report "Racial Profiling in Vermont," wherein findings and recommendations aimed at reducing bias-based police profiling are provided. The author evaluates the two recommendations offered in the report. The two recommendations include that police agencies in the state begin traffic stop date reporting (TSDR) and the Vermont Police Academy expand training of anti-bias policing.
