- Abstract
The author reflects on the opposition of the professional group American Society of Health-System Pharmacists against the involvement of pharmacists in death penalty. He explains the reasons behind the policy statement citing the foundations of the Code of Ethics for Pharmacists, and the Oath of a Pharmacist, and the similar position of the American Medical Association, American Nurses Association, and the American Pharmacists Association. He mentions the vote was executed on June 7, 2015.
