- Abstract
The article discusses the work of American contemporary artist Ellen K. Levy. The author reflects on an essay he wrote about the artist's site-specific work to be exhibited at the National Technical Museum in Prague, Czech Republic, in 2001 entitled "Shared Premises: Innovation and Adaptation, their common interest in the history of science and technology, and the status and future of museums. Levy's paintings including "Damien's Gliders: Agassiz's Chart" (1999), "Trophy" (1997), and "Jack of Hearts" (2008) are discussed. Her claim that a painting is a museum and her work which explores change are also commented on.
