- Abstract
The article focuses on the frames where the interdiction of boats of the coast of Australia may be viewed and the nation's history and geography. It says that the frames discerned not only the complexities of mobility, sovereignty, and memory, but they also depicted to the shifting geo-imaginaries of the South as an indication of the nation's location as a white settler colony. Moreover, they also highlight the way Australia and Asia are entangled in social, historical, and cultural relations.
