- Abstract
A letter is presented which discusses the outbreak of ckiyungya in Jamshedpur, Jhatkhand, India in 2011. It mentions that a suspected case was defined as a person with acute history of fever with either joint pain, rash headache, myalgia, photophobia or arthralgia. The letter also reports that important preventive and control measures suggested to Indian district health authorities include awareness among people about how to avoid mosquito bites.
