- Abstract
The article presents a study on Alcoholic Fatty Liver (AFS) syndrome in rats fed on liquid alcohol for 8 weeks. It states that there is a role of oxidative stress such as phospholipids peroxidation in development of AFS. It suggests that cocoa polyphenol supplements may help in ameliorating some of the toxic effect of alcohol and thus help in preventing AFS.
