- Abstract
This article presents an interview with Brian Bass, president of Bass Advertising and Marketing, Inc., about medical writing. When asked about his background in medical writing, he said that he started writing in 1985 with an advertising agency whose clients were all in animal health. His advice for new writers is to always remember that their sole existence is to solve problems for people. Bass believed that the rights and privileges of freelancing are the responsibilities, and likewise, the responsibilities are the rights and privileges.
