- Abstract
The authors consider nonstationary flow of a gas from a screen vacuum thermal insulation into vacuum and discuss its coupling to the Boussinesq solution of the classical problem on filtration of a liquid in a porous medium. A nonlinear one-dimensional filtration equation has been solved numerically, and it has been shown that the outflow from a porous body uniformly filled with the gas occurs in two stages. The first stage involves the formation of selfsimilar flow, and the second is fully described by the Boussinesq solution.
