- Abstract
Based on the saturated loess ground reinforced with cement mixing piles project in railway from Lanzhouxi railway station to Zhongchuan airport, the strength characteristics of cement and fly ash stabilized saturated loess under different curing temperature are tested in laboratory. The results show that under normal temperature, the strength of cement and fly ash stabilized saturated loess increases with mixing ratio. There is an age effect on the strength of cement and fly ash stabilized saturated loess, even after 90d age the strength still increases with age; Under low temperature, the strength increases with mixing ratio, the increasing speed under low temperature is obvious less than that under normal temperature; because low curing temperature will result in strength loss of cement stabilized soil which can not complete recovery later even under normal curing temperature, in winter it is not suitable for cement mixing piles construction.
