Experimental study on modification of raw soil materials in rural areas of Chengdu Plain.

- Abstract
The original black soil in the Chengdu Plain was used as the base material and different proportions of cement and cement special mixed materials SC-ONE retarder and water reducing agent were added to form different modified soil materials. At the same time the effects of different ratios on the mechanical properties of the modified soil materials were studied by experiments. The results show that when the proportion of raw soil is 80% the proportion of cement is 18% the proportion of SC-ONE is 2% the addition of 0.8% water reducing agent and water-solid ratio is 0.17 the prepared materials has the better compressive strength and flexural strength the 56 d compressive strength can reach 11.3 MPa and the flexural strength reaches 3.2 MPa. Tests have shown that cement and cement special mixed materials SC-ONE can be used for the modification of raw soil buildings in rural areas of Chengdu Plain.
