- Title
TRES MODULACIONES DE LA IRONÍA: EL VICIO, LA PARADOJA Y LA GNOSIS.
- Authors
Morales Troncoso, David Emilio
- Abstract
The following essay shows three modalities in the use of irony, as a figure of the speech, that accomplish different functions, negatives as well as positives. Our interest in particular will be in irony as a non-direct way to obtain a certain kind of knowledge that is far from the natural attitude of the speaker. To this end, we work out a critical-historical interpretation of the texts in which three kinds of this type of simulation emerge that, from Socrates onwards, has the methodological purpose of inducing special knowledge.
