- Abstract
We establish coincidence point theorem for g-non-decreasing mappings satisfying weak ψ - φ contraction on partially ordered metric spaces. With the help of our result, we indicate the formulation of a coupled coincidence point theorem of a generalized compatible pair of mappings F, G : X2 → X. We also deduce certain coupled fixed point results without mixed monotone property of F. We also give an example and an application to integral equation to support our results presented here. Our results generalize, extend, modify, improve, sharpen, enrich and complement several well-known results of the existing literature.
