Title
Ringworm.
Abstract
The article presents a case study of a three-month-old Jack Russell Terrier, Arthur, with two circular areas of alopecia and scales on his neck and face, and suspected of having ringworm or dermatophytosis. It mentions that treatment for dermatophytosis should be aggressive and involved topical treatment, environmental treatment, and systemic treatment. It notes that topical therapy prevents dissemination of infective material into the environment.
