- Abstract
The article presents a case study of allergic contact hand dermatitis from hydrangea in a gardener residing in Netherlands. The patient is reported to have scaly erythema and painful fissures on tips of his fingers. Patch tests were done with Europe standard series, rubber gloves and plants with which he worked. Tests to colonphony, hortnesia and leaf of kalanchoe were positive. Patch test with hydrangenol 0.1% was also positive. The patient was also treated with topical corticosteroids and tar preparations.
