Title
Teachers' responses to adolescent chronic pain.
Abstract
The article focuses on the survey of classroom teachers' response to students with chronic pain in the U.S. The response of teachers may be influenced by situational factors, such as documented medical evidence of the child's pain or the degree of parent-teacher cooperation in school accommodation to the child's needs. Moreover, healthcare providers need to be aware of the impact that a medical explanation of pain can have on how pain is perceived and managed.
