- Abstract
The article discusses a comment of Dr. Mohammad Farooq Mamji, an associate professor of orthopedic surgery, on risks of healthcare providers' habit of pricking intravenous infusion bottle. He highlights the increasing incidence of Hepatitis because of reuse of disposable syringes and use of glass syringes in Sindh, Pakistan. He stresses on the need to create awareness against spread of Hepatitis and informs about the Hepatitis awareness campaign run by pharmaceutical company Otsuka Pakistan.
