- Abstract
The article focuses on the Jesuit missionary Henry Floyd was one of the most active recruiters for seminaries on the continent training young Catholics for the priesthood and for the dangerous English mission. It mentions that he crossed over to England as a seminary priest in 15931 and entered the Society of Jesus in 1600; and completed his novitiate in England, due to the dangers of leaving the kingdom and to his being needed immediately on the Jesuit mission.
