- Abstract
The article examines the legal jurisdiction of race conscious home ownership programs as remedy for discrimination, civil rights principles aligned with special purpose credit programs, and affirmative fair housing. Topics discussed include homes for equity, home ownership and restorative racial justice, reverse discrimination and affirmative action, court decision in Students for Fair Admissions and duty imposed by the Fair Housing Act for federal housing and community development programs.
