- Authors
Kurteš, Svetlana
- Abstract
The volume concludes with the paper "Fostering civility and politeness awareness in professional discourse: critical genre analysis of course books in professional communication", authored by Alcina Sousa. The present special issue comes as a result of a series of long-standing and on-going collaborative initiatives, taking place under the auspices of the European Network for Intercultural Education Activities (ENIEDA). Specific topics ranged from issues in identity (cf. [2]), culture-specificity and universality of communicative styles (cf. [3]; [6], [7]), to issues in (im)politeness and (in)civility in public and professional discourse(s) (cf. [8]; [5]).
