- Abstract
The article describes what occurred in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, in relation to the surge of petitions for review from agency decision in asylum cases. It discusses how the Court face and deal the increasing caseload. It describes the options the Court considered and the unique and creative way the Court ultimately dealt with the problem. It also focuses on the solutions for handling such a crisis and a short description of general legal issues relevant to asylum cases.
