- Abstract
The article provides information about the heyday of the Jewish synagogues in Walla Walla, Washington which started from 1941. It notes that it started when Jews migrated from Germany and has declined in 1945 when the congregations experienced to have irregular services and can no longer afford to pay the services of a rabbi. Moreover, it presents the life and experiences of several Jews who had contributed to the strengthening of the Jewish community in the town, which include Rabbi Fritz Cohn, Sam Taylor, and Dr. Clara Jaffes.
