The objective of this research is to identify the internal --own company-- and external (concerning the environment) factors enabling Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Municipality of Santiago to act as dynamic companies within the market. For this research two analyzes were performed, one qualitative through frequency tables, and other of a quantitative kind using a logistic regression. According to the results it can be established that the internal factors that influence the dynamism of SMEs are: Acceptance and Community Support, Support of Friends and Participation in Corporate Networks, Support Organizations, Fixed Assets and Financial Assets, and Capabilities in Human Resources and Production.
