- Abstract
The article focuses on the problems related to fracking which is used to extract natural gas from shale rock formations deep within the earth further raising many public health and environmental issues. Topics discussed include problems related to fracking such as water contamination, air pollution, and even earthquakes; role of states in adopting local ordinances with respect to oil and gas development; and Supreme Court of Ohio's decision in State ex rel. Morrison v. Beck Energy Corp.
