- Abstract
It has become clear in recent years that the interaction of inorganic nanomaterials with biological systems is of paramount importance for further advancements in important fields, including nanomedicine, nanotoxicology, tissue engineering, biotechnology, environmental science, and bioimaging, among many others. This development reflects not merely new applications of nanoparticles to biological systems but also the emergence of new biotechnologies involving inorganic nanomaterials.
