- Title
DUALITY OF NATIONALITY: CONFLICTING RIGHTS IN THE US-MEXICO EXTRADITION TREATY.
- Authors
LEÓN, OSVALDO
- Abstract
The article focuses on the conflict between the two provisions of the U.S.-Mexico Extradition Treaty regarding the extradition of nationals. It discusses the rights of both countries in terms of extradition of their nationals and the difficulties in prioritizing the requesting country's right. It also discusses the consequences of conducting transborder abductions and argues that normalizing and legitimizing them would defeat the purpose of several provisions of the treaty.
