- Abstract
The article discusses the efforts to fight cybercrime in relation to the roles of intermediaries and various legal and cultural strategies that countries may adopt, focusing on analyses of the criminal code laws and differences in host and Internet Service Provider (ISP) performances in Finland and Lithuania. Private law, damages, and cybercriminals are mentioned. The costs associated with cybercrime in the U.S. and Germany are examined, along with Internet laws and immunity.
