The article discusses the role of archivist and historian Kurt Forstreuter in the looting of archives in Poland and Lithuania during the early part of World War II. According to the article, Forstreuter made several trips into Poland and Lithuania following the expulsion of Poles and pogroms against Jews to secure archival materials in towns such as Płock, Poland, Mazovia, Poland, and Suwałki, Poland.
