- Abstract
An interview with multimedia artist Clarissa Sligh, and photographer and activist Zanela Muholi is presented. When asked how they start in photography, Muholi refers to the inspiration from an exhibition of a LGBT conference that lacks images of black lesbians, and Sligh refers to her affection in photography as an artist. Sligh see her work as a way to reach out to people in a different way, and Muholi states that her visual art expresses lesbian and the struggles of the queer community.
