- Abstract
The article focuses on the effects office-holding on the individual in the U.S. It states that the rersearch deals with the general proposition that holding office in a state legislature results in a continuity of individual attitude towards the political system and its policies. It adds that the office-holding in a state legislature might result in a change in individual attitudes towards the political system and its policies. The study has aimed to explore the perceptions of attitudinal change as the product of holing-office.
