- Abstract
The article presents the case study of two patients with vagus- recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) to ameliorate unilateral vocal fold paralysis (UVFP) on initial evaluation. It mentions that UVFP is the complication of thyroid, thoracic, and skull base surgery. It states that UVFP lead to dysphonia and dysphagia secondary, focused on the loss of vocal fold motion or atrophy, leading to the reduction in quality of life.
