- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of movement in the development of the child in the U.S. it states that in infancy, physical movement is playing a vital role in the creation of nerve cell networks that are the core of learning. It notes that as the baby is moving from lying, sitting a standing position, the baby's perceptive changes as well as its perceptions of the world and possibilities. It notes that the more the baby becomes mobile, the more he increases his knowledge about himself and with each experiences, neural connections are made.
