- Abstract
The author discusses how dental schools that are not research-intensive can contribute to dental research. The author notes problems related to dental research and suggests reforms to dental education may attract students. He suggests alterations to the curricula of dental schools that are not research-intensive can help improve dental education by offering opportunities for research. The Marquette University School of Dentistry is offered as an example of this strategy.
