- Title
Fe-V-Zn (Iron-Vanadium-Zinc).
- Authors
Raghavan, V.
- Abstract
The article discusses a study which describes an isothermal section and provides a phase diagram for a ternary compound, iron-vanadium-zinc (Fe-V-Zn) at a temperature of 450 °Celsius (C). The study used various methods to analyze the phase equilibria such as scanning electron microscopy and x-ray powder diffraction. Results show the presence a ternary phase T structure in various composition ranges of the metals such as 5.6-15.5 for Fe, 1.4-4.5 for V, and 82.3-92.2 for Zn.
