- Abstract
The article offers information on the seven basic movements and steps in dancing during the Romantic Era in Great Britain. The seven dancing steps include the bending movement, the rising movement, the sliding movement, and the circular movement. The E. A. Théleur;s steps are also discussed, the first ground station wherein both feet are on the ground, the fifth half aerial station wherein the weight of the body is on one foot while the other off the ground at the height of the hip.
