- Abstract
The article discusses the use of microwave absorbents in various military and civil applications and a lack of experimental data on electromagnetic wave absorption properties associated with antenna structures. It reports the evaluation of microwave absorption and reflection of planar equiangular spiral antenna arrays (PESAA). It describes the experimental approach, the PESAA configuration, the epoxy resin formulation, and absorption and reflection results. Microwave absorption is said to depend on physical antenna dimensions and the resistance experienced in connecting antenna arms.
