- Abstract
Information about the authors' proposal to conserve the plant name Craterellus cinereus Donk with a conserved type against Craterellus cinereus Pers or Basidiomycota is presented. They note that Craterellus cinereus is a typical and widespread plant species in Europe and North America that is gathered because of its edibility. They add that fruitbodies of the said plant species are also commercially harvested due to its black basidiomata whose hymenophore is vein-like, sweet fruity smell.
