Abstract
The article discusses a volcano in the Tonga archipelago which has destroyed all plant and animal life on the island of Hunga Ha'apai. The volcano began erupting near the Tongan capital of Nuku'alofa which led to tsunami warnings for residents living near the volcano's epicenter. Also reported is the activity of Mount Redoubt in Alaska, which is part of the Pacific ring of fire, that has begun releasing plumes into the sky.
