Primate work faces German veto.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article reports that German scientists have condemned a parliamentary decision to stop primate experiments at the University of Bremen in Germany. It is stated that the scientists consider the decision as an unacceptable political interference with their freedom to conduct research. Moreover, the decision has been motivated by the campaign of animal-rights activists against the macaque experiments of Andreas Kreiter, a neuroscientist at the university's brain research center.
