- Abstract
The article presents a study that compares data using several evapotranspiration methods, including the models of Katerji-Perrier (KP), Todorovic (TD), and Priestley-Taylor (PT). The paper aims to compare the models and uses data obtained from coniferous trees of Changbai Mountains in China. According to the authors, the most effective values are obtained using the KP method while 30% overestimation of evapotranspiration is recorded by the TD method. Moreover, the authors add that the results of PT methods are site dependent and effective in large time-scale evapotranspiration. Lastly, the possibility of measuring evapotranspiration of Korean pine mixed forest is also proven in the study.
