- Abstract
This article, titled "Anomalous anatomy¿univentricular heart with three atrial appendages," describes the case of a patient with a rare heart condition. The patient has a functionally univentricular heart with three atrial appendages, which is a unique anatomical anomaly. The patient has a history of multiple cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs) and has undergone various treatments, including anticoagulation therapy and venesections. A computerized tomography (CT) scan revealed the presence of dilated tortuous cardiac veins and the absence of the coronary sinus. This case presents a previously undocumented combination of congenital heart anomalies. The article does not mention any conflicts of interest or funding sources.
